Bio:

Stephanie Carter, FNP-BC, was raised in the picturesque town of Maryville, TN, where she developed her passion for helping others. She began her rewarding career at University Urology in 2018 after several years of valuable experience. Following four years of dedicated practice as a registered nurse, during which she honed her clinical skills, she made the decision to return to academia to further her education and earn her master's degree at South College. As an Advanced Practice Provider (APP) at University Urology, Stephanie specializes in general urology, where she addresses a wide range of conditions, including hematuria, recurrent urinary tract infections, overactive bladder, urinary incontinence, voiding dysfunction, sacral nerve stimulation, botox therapy, hypogonadism, testosterone replacement, benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH), and erectile dysfunction.

Outside of her professional life, Stephanie is a devoted wife and proud mother of four children. She enjoys traveling to new destinations, keeping fit through regular exercise, spending leisurely time on the water, and indulging in a good book whenever she can.
